How To Play Surfacing by Slipknot with Mick Tompson
I wanted to post up a Slipknot song in memory of their bassist, Paul Gray, passing on Monday. So, after searching for some great video lessons, I found Mick Tompson giving a lesson on how to play their hit song “Surfacing.”
Is there a better way to learn a song then from the people who write them? No, of course not. Get out your pitch shifter, delay, and reverb pedals and turn up the distortion and get ready to play Slipknot’s “Surfacing.”
I hope that the mask wasn’t to intimidating! With a little practice, this is a great, easy song to play for all you metal heads. If you would like to download this song and more Slipknot songs Check out Slipknot’s music on iTunes.
If you are in need of effects pedal, be sure to head by Music 123 and American Musical Supply and pick them up.
